Here are four presentations from the ASQ's Energy & Environmental Division's  Best Practices for Improving Performance in the Energy Sector Conference, in San Antonio, Texas, October 1999

Paul Mills gave a brief report of the minutes from the Analytical Laboratories Technical Committee meeting, Analytical Technical Laboratories

Timothy Dawson USEPA Region VI,  presented examples of questionable laboratory practices, and advice on how to detect and prevent them.  "Environmental Data Quality"    

Ann Rosecrance, Corporate Compliance Officer and Quality Assurance Director, Core Laboratories, described the consequences of unethical laboratory practices, and outlined the development and effective operation of a lab ethics program in "Ethics Standards for Analytical Chemistry Laboratories" 

Chuck Wibby, Environmental Resource Association; Rock Vitale, Environmental Standards, Inc. presented the latest information relating reference materials to PBMS and NELAC.
